Details:This is an exceptionally beautiful heavy 18k gold watch chain. It is comprisedof curblinks complete with a t-bar and a dog clip. Fantastic with pendants attached or on its own. A watch chain this lovely and weighty is a rare find.

This type of watch chain was popularizedby Prince Albert, the husband of Queen Victoria.The t-bar is placed through the buttonhole of the wearer's buttoned waistcoat and anchors the watch chain in place. The wearers watch was attached to one end and tucked into a small pocket. The other end of the chain was hung with important pendants such as the family seal and other significant or decorative charms.

Measurements:The chain's length is 17.75" and the total weight is 35g. Every link is hallmarked with a crown and 18k. There are severalhallmarks on the toggle bar.
